A secret gem of a walk. Park your car on St John's Road and walk towards the Penzance Road taking the bridge over the river Cober. Just over the river follow the footpath sign post and follow the banks of the river for quarter of a mile. Cross the bridge back over the river (the river will now be on your left) and you can walk all the way to Lowertown. The path meanders by the side of the river through woodland abundant with wildlife. When you reach the stepping stones at Lowertown you can either continue into the village or return the way you came (about a three mile walk). Wear wellies in winter because it gets mighty muddy in places.
