Originally the site of Pembrey's Royal ordnance factory, the area was taken over by the local authority in 1970 and transformed into scenic parkland and coast. Now you can spend a whole day exploring miles of walks and trails, Cefn Sidan beach, or perhaps for the more adventurous hone your skiing on the ski slope, try tobogganing, hire a bike, play golf and even horse ride. There really is a day of fun to be had here.
