Peaceful and beautiful

This is a hidden gem on the edge of Dartmoor. Plenty of parking and paths make walking easy. Also lots of picnic tables. Absolutely beautiful place and so peaceful, thoroughly recommended.

This pretty reservoir high up on Dartmoor makes a nice outing from nearby Chagford. There are plenty of marked walks around the lake and through the forest as well as fly fishing and birdwatching - there are two bird hides, one with wheelchair access.
