Coverack to Black Head

From Coverack there is a lovely circular walk along the coastal path to Chynhalls Point and Black Head, and then turning inland to walk across fields and country lanes back to the village.

Walk now incomplete

There is no longer a footpath in-between Black Head and Beagle Point for the circular walk as the farmer closed the 'permitted' footpath due to inconsiderate walkers in 2018. There is a shorter circular walk back through the sculpture park when coming up from the cliff path, well signposted.

Walk

Coastal walk. Good, but has some difficult sections.

Lovely views

There is a good sandy beach at low tide just beyond Chynhalls Point (Porthbeor Cove or Mears Beach). The coast path beyond here is quite rough going and overgrown in places but the coastal views are lovely. The return along the alternative coast path is much easier and passes the excellent Sculpture Park.
