Situated on The Roseland peninsula, you will find this easterly facing beach. The beach is mainly sandy, albeit coarse, then it gently shelves to flat rock platforms. This beach is prone to rock falls and care needs to be taken, especially in certain weather conditions.

Portmellon is the kind of place stories are written about. With a tidal sandy beach disappearing at high tide, bathers can lounge in the sand or head to neighbouring Polkirt beach for a spot of snorkelling or rockpooling. While there's limited parking in Portmellon, the beach is easily accessed from Mevagissey or Gorran Haven along the South West Coast Path.

Portholland is a lovely cove near to Porthluney Cove overlooking Veryan Bay. There is a good car park and in the summer there is a small cafe providing refreshments and home-made cakes. Toilets and rockpools make it a good family beach, but the approach lanes are narrow and the beach disappears at high tide.

A quiet, sandy beach nestled into the Roseland Peninsula, Creek Stephen can only be accessed from neighbouring Porthbean Beach at low tide or by boat. The generally sheltered waters here are a paradise for snorkellers, although there is no lifeguard service. Dogs are welcome all year. There are no facilities or parking present.
