Carne Beach joins Pendower Beach to form one gloriously long stretch of sand, popular with families due to the easy parking right behind the beach. Dog friendly beach year round.

Beautiful beach leading to Pendower Beach at low tide.

Carne and Pendower beaches become one huge and gorgeous dog friendly beach at low tide. It’s a beautiful walk along the beach and there’s a cafe at both ends. I haven’t tried the one at Pendower, but the one at Carne is in the National Trust car park. It’s a trailer belonging to the Thirstea Co at Porth - the trailer serves great hot drinks, cakes and ice cream. A great reward for walking all the way along the beaches and back!
