This shingle beach is easy to access and has fantastic views across the estuary towards St Just in Roseland. It is a safe beach for swimming and there are a few rock pools for exploring.
Access either from the coastal path or over the fields from Treloan Camp Site. There's no beach to speak of at high tide but when the water is low there's a gently shelving beach with coarse sand and fine shingle. Great for snorkelling and diving at high tide and excellent rock pooling at low tide. Dogs are welcome.
Use the car park nearest to the Castle and follow the footpath. This beach is a mixture of sand and shingle with flat rock outcrops and is great for rock pools. Facilities are available around the harbour.
