5/5

Situated between the harbour and the castle, this beach is a mixture of shingle and sand with flat rock outcrops. The south facing beach is very sheltered and popular in the summer months.

Gorgeous little beach

Gorgeous little beach with rocks, shingle and sand. Popular with swimmers as its sheltered and shallow, it has benches to sit on and a swimmers platform too which the seals also like to use. Perfect.

Perfectly safe little beach

Great little beach available before high tide. Not sandy so need footwear and a bit of bravery as water fresh. My 6 year old loved it.
