Best Beaches in Cornwall

Cornwall is known for its beautiful beaches, but which one to choose? Help is at hand as our guests have rated the three best beaches in Cornwall.

Porthcurno Beach

A magical escape, it’s a worthy winner. It’s a long and windy road to find your way down to the end of the country to find this gem, but you will be well rewarded for the effort. Turquoise sea and white sand sheltered by high cliffs. And for those of you that are interested, a nudist beach just around the corner!

Bedruthan Steps Beach

Encapsulating the drama of the north coast in one stretch of sand, at low tide there’s enough sand for everyone.  It’s another one that takes a bit of effort to reach – 150 steep steps – but it’s worth it at any time of year. And you may be lucky enough to spot a mermaid on the rocks…

Finnygook Beach

At the opposite end of the county from our number one beach, this quaintly named collection of pebbles and sand is actually the end of Whitsand Bay, but its secluded enough to feel like a secret spot.
