On the east bank of the river Erme, this beach joins up with the beach next door, Mothecombe, at low tide. A sandy beach, there are lovely views over the estuary and dogs are welcome year round.

Wonwell beach
Remote and very pretty beach alongside the creek. Mainly shingle and coarse sand , lots of shells. Approached down a very long , narrow and steep lane so not for nervous drivers! No real parking on arrival...just squeeze in at side of the lane if there's a space.
