A guide to the West Country from the people that know…

Trevaunance Cove

St Agnes’ pride and joy, Trevaunance Cove boasts the dramatic aesthetics typical of Cornwall’s north coast. Soaring cliffs and golden sands are complemented by a labyrinth of caves and the almighty Atlantic lapping at its shores. Popular amongst families and sport-lovers alike, Trevaunance Cove is not one to forget.

Beautiful cove, but check before you swim…

Beautiful cove, lots of sand, great facilities around, however: be aware there is a sewer overflow discharge pipe which after heavy rainfall can discharge straight onto the beach. Check the Surfers Against Sewage app before you swim for real-time bathing safety advice.

Lovely but steep access

Really lovely being so close to the sea but access is steep (my elderly mum managed it once).
Love north Cornwall though for the abundance of dog friendly beaches.

Schooners - A 'must not miss'!....

Bag a prime seat overlooking the beautiful Trevaunance Cove, incredible views from this fabulous place.
Serves just the best pizzas cooked in their stone oven, accompanied with a superb selection of beers/wines etc.
Under new ownership and the management team are super friendly, just a fabulous relaxed place to visit (and love dogs!)....
