Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens

Welcome to one of Cornwall's newest major attractions. A fabulous place positioned in a sheltered valley with woodland and streams creating a backdrop to sub-tropical plants and contemporary art installations. The Lime Tree Cafe offers freshly prepared, homemade meals and is open all day for drinks, snacks and meals.

Beautiful gardens, and sculptures, very restful

Lovely gardens, amazing plants. Great sculptures especially the wind one and the ducking stool very unusual. Lots of seats as parts are a bit hilly. Amazing views over St Michaels Mount. In the grounds, Tremenheere kitchen has great food, good customer service. We booked online to ensure table for lunch, would recommend orzu risotto. The nursery has lovely plants and amazing succulents and RHS award. I have just planted the lovely unusual plants I brought. Will visit again when in Cornwall

The gardens are lovely, and the sculptures beautiful. The café is fantastic, serving lunch and dinner what seems to be all year round! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the little gift / craft shop is lovely. They also have a little outdoor shop selling pots and plants (not open when I was there on Boxing Day). We were there on a blustery, cold, Boxing Day. I can only imagine how wonderful it would be in the height of summer.

Fabulous day out, whatever the weather

We visited the sculpture gardens on an incredibly windy day in November and had an enjoyable few hours exploring and taking in the art and the views. Then had an absolutely stunning meal in the Tremenheere Kitchen, the vegetarian offering was fabulous! We then topped off the day with a hot chocolate in the fresh air under the canopy. I can highly recommend a visit.

A Gem Discovered

World class art from James Turrell and David Nash in an amazing setting looking down to St Michaels Mount. The sky chamber really is quite arresting for something so simple.
