Not Sunday lunch

After 7 or 8 years we returned to the Victory for Sunday lunch. I maybe should have read the description better. We were disappointed that a Sunday roast wasn't on the menu,so we opted for an alternative. I had half a chicken and my wife had fish of the day, very nice but the roast would have been better.

Our favourite pub in St Mawes!

A very cosy pub with friendly staff! We liked their balcony upstairs where we had a very good moules frites!
We warmly reccommend The Victory for meals and beers!

Lovely friendly pub

We loved going to this friendly traditional pub, the landlord is a lovely man who always gave us a wam welcome and would already be pouring our drinks as we went in, having remembered what we drank the last time. Loved sitting on the roof terrace looking across the harbour

Recently (august 25) acquired the chefs from watch house and new landlord. Excellent food lovely friendly atmosphere.

Good value and lovely atmosphere

Proper pub. Can sit outside with a view of the harbour/sea or inside (best to book at busy times) pub staples at decent prices. Lovely barmaid was rushed off her feet the Sunday evening we went but was still polite and smiling.
