Not customer friendly

There is a cheese shop at the Town Mill that has a great variety of cheeses but beware you are not allowed to touch them (even the wrapped & priced ones) you have to stand there looking only and then ask for everything you want to buy!

A fascinating place to visit. The Mill has been restored from dereliction to working condition. You follow the same route as the grain, starting at the top and working your way down. Lots of fascinating information about milling and the history of the mill. There are also some displays about electricity in Lyme Regis and a small hydro electric plant.
The Mill buildings also contains galleries, shops, a micro brewery and a cheese shop selling delicious ice-cream
