Great pub with good ales and food. We were made very welcome. Shame they were shut in the afternoon when we were finishing our walks!

Lovely staff, great location and pleasant beer garden.

We enjoyed our visits to The Ship Inn. It's a shame that it doesn't open through the afternoons and also that they do not cater for vegetarians. We were unable to eat there during our one week stay in Portloe.

Lovely pub serving good quality pub food, good service and there was no problem having young (and rather noisy) children in the pub for an early evening meal.

Great pub with lovely garden. Serves very good freshly cooked food.
Perfect to stop for lunch after a long walk or a lovely relaxed dinner.
Pretty garden too!
