A traditional 18th century coaching house which has been restored and now offers a comfortable place to stop off for a drink or meal. The menu offers pub classics and there is a skittle alley and beer garden available.

Supper at the Red Lion

Stopped here for an early supper on a Saturday and ordered scallops and black pudding and a stir fry dish.
Both dishes were generous and nicely flavoured and served quickly. The staff were friendly and the pub setting is very pleasant. We did go back again but found it is closed on Mondays.
