A guide to the West Country from the people that know…

New Forest Wildlife Park

A conservation experience in the heart of the New Forest, these guys are doing good things when it comes to rehabilitation and species management. Go and enjoy the countryside whilst admiring animals from far and wide. It's very well set up, welcoming to disabled visitors, but not dog-friendly.

Fantastic place to visit

Took my granddaughter who is 9 to wildlife park within 5 minutes she said she wanted to come back again. Fantastic park so many different animals and loved the fact some are rescued. Great space all amongst the trees. Lots of interesting facts about each animal, for example - what you would call a group of each animal, e.g. pine martins are called a richness'.. We all leant some things we didn't know. The harvest mice houses were amazing, a favourite with us all. We didn't realise how small they were.
Been to the area many times and never visited. We definitely go back again. Entrance fee not bad. Lots of play areas for children of all ages. Café served sandwiches, wraps, and snacks. Gift shop well laid out and plenty of parking
