Melinsey Mill

Medieval water mill set deep in a wooded valley. There is a small mill museum, craft shop and very popular cafe famed for its light lunches and delicious home-made pastries and cakes. The water wheel (cast by Harris & Polmear of the City Foundry, Truro in 1882) is working and you can sit and watch the ducks and other wildlife around the picnic tables under the trees.

The tastiest and biggest cream teas I've ever had the pleasure to chomp on!
Wonderful little secluded spot with a still-working mill and quirky Alice in Wonderland-esque pond & garden.
Ideal place to catch your breath after a hike through the woods to and from Pendower beach.
