Malmesbury Abbey

This stunning Abbey is open to the public Monday to Saturday. Visitors get the opportunity to see the tomb of King Athelstan, a 15th century illuminated Bible, the crest of Henry VII and the poetic gravestone of Hannah Twynnoy who was allegedly killed by a tiger locally in 1703. Refreshments are available in the cafe and there's also a bookshop.
