The rugged cliffs and clear waters of Cornwall's north coast make an impressive backdrop for a skydive. The Cornwall Parachute Club operates from Perranporth Airfield, where you can try parachuting, skydiving and glider flights, or enjoy a scenic flight taking in the breathtaking views over the Cornish peninsular. Located on a stunning stretch of coastline near Newquay, Perranporth Airfield was used as base for Spitfires during World War 2.

Taking to the sky in Cornwall you get a unique perspective on the peninsular. Leaving the winding lanes behind, the North and South coasts look too close to sustain a county in-between! Taking off from here, (400ft cliffs provide a natural termination to the airfield), you're never sure whether the aircraft is climbing or the ground has simply disappeared from beneath you! Friendly staff, tea room on site.
