Enjoying spectacular views of St Michael’s Mount, the beach is a sand and shingle mix which is covered at high tide and situated between Penzance Beach and Long Rock Beach. Whilst the nearest parking is at Long Rock, 1.5km away, there are several access points to the beach which is backed by a long cycle track and sea-defence boulders. Swimming is best at high tide, although caution is advised as there is no safety equipment or lifeguards. This is a year-round dog-friendly beach. All amenities can be found in Penzance.
