We have eaten at Amelie's a couple of times before, after noticing the tv show with Alex Pollizzi trialling a new chef there. This year we booked an evening with their summer music sessions and heard an amazing jazz singer called Kai Hoffman. It was a lovely evening - the food was great and the atmosphere was fabulous. The service was a little bit inconsistent but it didn't matter as we were so relaxed!

We visited Porthleven and was looking for somewhere to have lunch. We wandered over to the quay on the far side and had one of the best fish and chip meals we have ever had. The hake was extremely well cooked and the whole meal and the atmosphere was good. Where? AMELIES at the Smokehouse>
