the classic guide

A guide to the West Country from the people that know…

The Plume of Feathers

A classic country pub with a relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy the seasonal menu where fresh, local and traceable ingredients are used to prepare classic British and modern European fare. Mitchell has its own fruit farm and the fruit and vegetables are sourced from here. Reclaimed slate from the renovated barns is used to serve a selection of Cornish cheeses.

The Plume of Feathers

Lovely pub, great food in a very easy to get to location (just off the A30 in Mitchell). Stylish surroundings with a recently added conservatory which is furnished to the same high standard. Sister pub to the Lewinnick Lodge in Newquay - the Plume of Feathers may lack a spectacular clifftop setting but you won't be disappointed. Good loos too!
