Steeped in history this mediaeval building has undergone many changes over time. Adjacent to the building is a Herb and Physic garden which has been developed in recent years by local volunteers. Please note this museum is currently only open to the public during August each year.

Tyneham Village

A ghost village on the Isle of Purbeck, abandoned for military use in preparations for D-Day. Wander the domestic ruins and visit the church and schoolhouse, still stocked with the day's lesson books. Worth a look, even if it's a stop off before walking down to Worbarrow Bay. Just make sure you check when the area is open, as it's owned by the Ministry of Defence.
