Fruit, veg, meat, fish, poultry, jams, chutney, cheeses, all from local Cornish growers and producers. In a nutshell, if it's made in Cornwall, they sell it. You can also arrange to have boxes delivered to your doorstep - perfect for a car-free holiday.
A hidden delight we were delighted to discover, an unassuming entrance off the centre of this lively little village leads to a courtyard of goodies. An unusual array of ingredients, crates of fresh produce line the walls, fridges offer a waft of fine cheeses and a pantry houses a wide selection of the eclectically edible. Once you look past the food, there's the table tennis table and greenhouse stocked with lush plants. Beyond, a courtyard lined with feasting tables and promising looking grills - they do feast nights to rival any other hidden hut.
A good selection of local fresh meats, dairy products, cakes, preserves, vegetables, plants, crafts and delicious home-baked bread. Held every Wednesday and Friday on Lemon Quay, next to the bus station.
