Both Barn Pool and this beach are next to the Cremyll foot ferry with access to the gardens of Mount Edgecumbe Park nearby. With lovely views across to Plymouth, Cremyll beach is shingle and sand with some rock pools around the south side. Car parking is available at Cremyll and dogs are allowed year round.

Beautiful sand and pebble beach, popular with surfers and bodyboarders. Short walk from car park (get there early in summer!) and cafe nearby. Finnygook is the eastern end of Portwrinkle, which itself consists of two beaches and marks the western extremity of Whitsand Bay.

To reach this small cove you will need to be willing to climb over the rocks. The beach is very secluded with fingers of rock at low tide. There are several rock pools to be explored.

A stony, wide sweeping beach with only a small strip above high water. Facilites are available at the nearby Country Park.

This long stretch of sandy beach can seem endless, around 4 miles in all, stretching out to almost reach Rame Head.
Cawsand and neighbouring Kingsand are historical Cornish fishing villages and regular recipients of the Best Kept Village Award. The beach here is popular for swimming, boating and windsurfing and close to the village amenities. Should you feel the need for some big city action, a ferry runs from Cawsand Bay to The Barbican, close to Plymouth city centre.
A glorious stretch of sandy beach, making way to a number of big rocks. Access to this beach is by a choice of two steep coastal paths.
This sandy cove is quite sheltered and offers a good safe place to swim. There are also great places to snorkel at high tide.
This pleasant sand and shingle beach backs onto the 17th Century Cornish fishing village of Kingsand. Popular for swimming and boating, it is close to all the village amenities, including a 120-space car park. It is also close to the historic fishing village of Cawsand.
