The Cornish Seal Sanctuary
Previously known as The National Seal Sanctuary, abandoned and injured seals are brought here to be nursed and rehabilitated before being released back into Cornish waters. Feeding time is always quite a spectacle.

Culdrose Viewing Enclosure
Follow the signs past the main gate of RNAS Culdrose and you will find the viewing enclosure, giving panoramic views across the airfield of the largest helicopter airbase in Europe. Not much flying takes place for 3 weeks during August because of summer holidays!

Helston Folk Museum
The artefacts here sprawl across two floors and five halls. Well laid out, the museum charts the social history of the area with evocative exhibitions.

Halliggye Fogou
One of Cornwall's best-preserved 'fogous' - prehistoric manmade caves. There are a number of these mysterious structures found throughout Cornwall. Similar structures are found in Ireland, Brittany and Scotland.

Contemporary art, craft and sculpture to buy plus a programme of exhibitions throughout the year.

Trelowarren
An awe-inspiring Jacobean mansion with its own chapel. Outbuildings have been tastefully converted to create a restaurant and a craft display area. There are also leisure facilities including a swimming pool, children's pool and gym, for which holiday membership is available.
