Indoor fun for young children, with a wide range of activities, including dodgems, play frames for all ages, digital climbing wall, tree house scramble, fast slides, cannon blasters, sand and water play, mini golf and more. There are themed party rooms for birthday parties.
A contemporary arts and crafts gallery set in the historic port of Charlestown. The gallery exhibits work from over 80 artists with most based in the South West.
A glorious fairytale castle with 120 acres of woodland paradise, which is home to an incredible National Magnolia Collection. The garden is nestled in a secluded valley above Porthluney Cove. Visiting times are limited so check their Website before you plan your journey!
Perched on the edge of the harbour in the old lifeboat station, this cute little aquarium is home to some unusual species and all are caught and donated by local fishermen. It is tiny so don't expect Sea World but it is worth a visit and is free (donations gratefully received).
A model train lovers delight. Open from March to October, visitors will see over 30 trains travelling through towns, country, seaside and alpine winter. There's a Junior Junction for youngsters with Hornby Thomas The Tank Engine and there's even a garden railway (indoors!).
Open from Easter to November this museum houses three floors of exhibits along with kids trail and changing themed exhibits. Learn about the history of the local area and see interesting artefacts including items recovered from local beaches. Oh, and it's free!
Pinetum Park is an impressive feat when you consider it was established by a couple of amateur enthusiasts - 80 acres of Cornwall have been divided into ten themed gardesn, showcasing plants from all over the world. A particular selling point is the winter garden, making this a must-visit all year round.
This Victorian Brewery offers the chance to follow a guided tour to learn about 160 years of Cornish brewing history. Please call in advance to book tours.
