It would be remiss not to mention the pleasures of walking the Jurassic Coast here; a good way to combine a little exercise with a history lesson is to join one of the organised Fossil Walks from Charmouth.
This part of the coastline is well known for its fossils - visit the centre to learn how to find some fossils of your own and view the collections that have been gathered over the years. If you fancy, a guided walk can be arranged from the centre.
