Follow the signs past the main gate of RNAS Culdrose and you will find the viewing enclosure, giving panoramic views across the airfield of the largest helicopter airbase in Europe. Not much flying takes place for 3 weeks during August because of summer holidays!

One of Cornwall's best-preserved 'fogous' - prehistoric manmade caves. There are a number of these mysterious structures found throughout Cornwall. Similar structures are found in Ireland, Brittany and Scotland.
A 15th century granite built church in the pretty village of Breage, dedicated to Saint Breage or Breaca. It's worth a visit to see the 15th century medieval wall paintings.
A great place to take a gentle stroll, or maybe feed the ducks or take a rowing boat out. It is a level wide path all the way around making it ideal for pushchair and wheelchair users. Very popular with families.

Marconi's genius and legacy is commemorated here, from a building close to where the first ever transatlantic radio signal was sent. The building is owned by the National Trust and run by the Poldhu Amateur Radio Club. Entry is free and well worth a visit for any radio enthusiast.
