This secluded beach can only be reached through an old smugglers tunnel down a sloping path and steps. It's sheltered due to the surrounding cliffs and mainly comprises of shingle. Great for swimming and fishing, there is no lifegaurd cover. Dogs are welcome year round and there is ample parking close by.

Also known as Gentleman's Cove, Coryton Cove offers a unique seaside sanctuary punctuated with multi-coloured beach huts and backed by Dawlish's striking red cliffs. Just a short distance from the town, the shoreline is mere moments away and if you are lucky, you might even see a dolphin breaking the surface of the water whilst you dip your toes in the sea.
