Studland Bay is also famous for its nudist section at Knoll Bay, the National Trust's only designated naturist beach. You will find safe shallow waters here and National Trust members can park for free.

Lake Drive beach is a sand and shingle beach found in Hamworthy. Running up to the popular nature reserve, Ham Common, the beach is popular among dog walkers and is dog-friendly all year. Once used to prepare troops for the D-Day landings, these days the beach is a good place to take a stroll and reflect. At low tide it can get a little silty.

A popular place during the summer, this beach consists of a wide expanse of sand and is named after the shells which were once a common find here. Situated at the very tip of the Studland Peninsula, access is made from either the Swanage end or from the Sandbanks ferry on the otherside of Poole harbour mouth. Facilities are good and dogs are allowed year round however restrictions apply during summer.

South Beach

A sheltered strip with interesting rocky crags where lovelorn teens have carved their emotions into the stones, which must've taken some effort! Worth it just to meet the Owner of Joe's Cafe, where the kids can borrow beach toys for free. A National Trust car park is available between South Beach and it's sister, Middle Beach.
