Whilst the nearest parking is at Long Rock, 1.5km away, there are several access points to the beach which is backed by a long cycle track and sea-defence boulders. Swimming is best at high tide, although caution is advised as there is no safety equipment or lifeguards. This is a year-round dog-friendly beach. All amenities can be found in Penzance.

The access point is a break in the edge of turf and you'll need to work your way down across rocks to reach the shingle and sandy areas of the beach. Dogs are allowed and this is a great place for rock pools.
