Known locally as Goring by the Sea, Goring beach is a long stretch of pebbles and shingle with an espanse of flat sand at low tide. Ideal for kite surfing, sailing, swimming and wind surfing, facilities include a cafe and shop with beach hire. Dogs are allowed but some local restrictions apply.

Here you'll find a shingle beach which sits in-between Shoreham-by Sea and Worthing. Dogs are allowed year round which is great for dog walkers as there's a vast swathe of compact sand exposed at low tide. The beach is popular with sailors, windsurfers and kite-surfers. Please note there is no lifeguard cover.

West Wittering Beach

This long sandy beach is the perfect choice for families and windsurfers a like. With panoramic views of the harbour and South Downs you can spend an hour or the whole day enjoying the scenery. Life guards are in attendance during high season and parking is available close by on the grass banks (charges apply). Dogs are allowed from the end of September through until the end of April, after this time, restrictions apply locally.
