One of the four original ‘stannary' towns, Liskeard is scenically tucked into some very pretty countryside. The old town offers some fine examples of Victorian properties, the clock tower at the Guildhall is well worth a visit. Wander around town, visit one of the many cafes and stock up on holiday goodies.

Veryan is most famous for its nineteenth century thatched Round Houses of which there are five, two pairs of which stand at each end of the village and another in the centre. It has a pub, a grocery shop, an off-licence and a Post Office.
