With lovely views over Mount's Bay, this pebble beach can be found between Penzance and Newlyn. With parking nearby and good access from the promenade it's a good place for safe swimming. You can visit year round with your dog and there's a good play park close by.

Wherrytown beach and the Promenade that runs along next to it are perfect for a summer stroll, or a winter slog! Perfect for the dogs especially at low tide as there is more beach available for them to go mad on! The views across Mounts Bay towards the Mount and further to the Lizard Point are always spectacular.

There is also fish to be had (Pollock, bass, wrass etc depending on the tides and seasons). Fish can be caught from the promenade area or on the shingle beach itself and off the rocks.
