The Square At Porthleven

PORTHLEVEN

West Cornwall

5/5

Based on 2 reviews

Intimate and upmarket, yet unpretentious, the owners also run The Victoria Inn, which has a far reaching reputation. The food at The Square is typical classic French bistro style and high quality, and the hosts are very friendly. It is just on the corner of the harbour, so on a sunny summer evening, book yourself a window seat.

quality restaurant and good for children

We had a lovely meal here on our holiday in Cornwall. Friendly welcoming staff. Good choice of food and for the children too. We recommend this restaurant but make sure you book in high season.

Yum!

My partner had the best meal he's ever eaten out when we went here. Pork belly is good at the best of times, but this one was out of this world!
I went for the most intriguing things I could find on the menu, cos I like to try new things, and everything was well cooked and flavoured.
Cost slightly more than we would usually spend as a young couple but by no means expensive, and totally worth every penny.
Not many tables, so guessing you'd have to book during high season.
