Based on 1 review

'You can drink your batty ales, you can drink them by the flagon. But the only brew for the brave and true, comes from the Green Dragon,' so goes a passage in Lord of the Rings. Peter, owner of The Green Dragon, has been known to regale guests with tales of his adventures braving the high seas over a brew or two.

Incredibly friendly staff, great food

We were on holiday nearby and first went to the Green Dragon just for the convenience of it. But it exceeded our expectations and we came back! They serve really good food, the pizzas especially are amazing. The staff are wonderful, attentive without being intrusive, and it feels like they are all invested in the place. We loved our visits there and I only wish it was my local!
