A charming old inn sitting on the banks of the river Fowey. Enjoy stunning views across the water from the terrace. Traditional pub grub is served daily and locally sourced wherever possible. A choice of cask ales are available and there's a beer festival on both the May and August bank holiday weekends.

A great welcome and excellent food

We were warmly welcomed on the two occasions we visited whilst on holiday, with some of the best meals I have had in ages served. Excellent menu choices for vegetarian, I loved the Haloumi burger, and the vegetable lasagne, and fantastic chips too. Great that you are dog friendly too, and he was pleased with the treat offered.

Good local pub.

We had an excellent meal which was very reasonable. The menu was extensive with plenty of choices for vegetarians. The food is home made with theme nights for special menus. There is plenty of outside seating with some cover and close to the waterfront.

Xmas at the fisherman’s

A wonderful pub, very welcoming and we joined in with their Christmas singing one evening that was such fun. Great community pub!!

Get the pizza Friday night

We arrived too late for main menu food but they made freshly cooked pizza and were fabulous.
Owners were so friendly to kids and our dog

Slightly disappointing. Great location but despite this and its name, there was no fish on the menu and the choice and quality of food was mediocre.

A friendly little village pub that does good simple pub food. A lovely spot to while away an hour two, over a drink or three, watching the world go nowhere in particular!
