A country pub on the River Barle, on the edge of Exmoor National Park. They have been graded by the Green Tourism Scheme and serve classical British food with a twist. Dogs are welcomed with a gravy bone to chew on whilst you make use of the free WiFi!

Not worth a visit.

Nice location for a drink but the food is not that great - we only ate there once in a week. Very disappointing.

Lunchtime

We visited The Bridge Inn for Sunday lunch having pre booked. I had roast beef and my husband had the burger, both excellent. I am gluten free and they were very helpful with the menu. My husband had the cheese board which was enough for two to share and really good. I had the Banoffee pie, again GF and absolutely delicious!

Local pub that served very decent pub grub and had very friendly staff. Worth booking ahead if you want to eat at the weekend.
