This popular sandy Bude beach is large enough not to feel too crowded. The sea water bathing pool means there is safe swimming here whatever the weather conditions.

Get there early!

Super popular with all who visit, especially as it's dog friendly all year, get there before 10am on a sunny day to avoid a long queue to get into the car park only to find no spaces left.

The beach is understandably busy but the car park is also well placed for walking up and over the headland to Crooklets beach, into Bude or round the to the canal via Crazy Golf, pitch and put or tennis.

Cafes, ice cream vendors and toilet facilities for all provided at the end of the car park.

Children loved it safe and when tide was to far out you had the sea pool.
