Here you'll find a historic 16th century coaching inn with traditional interiors and open fires in winter. There's outside seating for summer months and car parking next door alongside a secure kids play area opposite.

The best Sunday lunch

The owners at the Sexeys had just changed when we visited, but the chef is the same and the quality of the Sunday lunch was just as good as ever. Wonderful roasts with lots of fresh veg and the best roast potatoes. The apple crumble was also excellent - lots of fruit and crunchy crumble topping.

Sunday lunch

Super Sunday lunch - do book - in a proper English pub. Generous helpings, warm and friendly staff. We ate in the bar, not the restaurant as we had the dog with us. Lovely atmosphere, plenty of food - and only a walk from Yew Tree Barn
