Newlyn Meadery is perfect for family get togethers or a quiet meal for two. Located in the heart of Newlyn fishing village, across a quaint little bridge over a river (a taxi office directly opposite waits for you if you decide to take a fancy to the local delicacy...mead wine!!!).

The food you eat with your fingers, the waitresses are dressed as medieval girls, this old Cornish cinema truly is one of a kind here in Newlyn. An absolute must for any visitor to the area. Quieter out of season of course, much busier in the height of Summer. Best advise is to get there at least 30 mins before you want to eat, at busy times...they also do takeaways which are fantastic aswell....oh and you can take your pudding away with you too if you don't have room! I highly recommend the Mississippi Mud Pie!

Great food, generous portions, fantastic self-service salad bar. Gets very busy so best to arrive early as they don't accept bookings. A good choice for large groups, alternatively the pew style seating down each side offers a cosy dining experience.
