The beef and lamb here is born and reared down the lane at the award-winning Kestle Farm, keeping food miles to an absolute minimum. In 2009 Lobbs bagged the Taste of the West Gold award for retail outlets in Cornwall and in 2011 was mentioned in the Times "Britain's best farm shops" guide. The Countryside Barn visitor centre here has interactive displays about the farm animals, crops and wildlife found on the farm. While you're here, pay a visit to the magical Lost Gardens of Heligan.

The hand-made Trenance chocolates you can get from the shop are amazing, I would definitely recommend purchasing a box of these! There is such a good range of local produce here you don't need to go to a supermarket!

Great selection

Fantastic selection of meats, veg, cheeses, local beers...the list goes on! A large portion of the vegetables are grown on their own farm and you can certainly taste the difference from the usual supermarket fayre.
