A traditional 16th century coaching inn with lots of free parking in the village square and a secluded garden for warmer days. Children are welcome to play in the Wendy house in the garden. Dogs are also welcome.

Very disappointing

The food was pretty poor, salmon overcooked, and the steak that was ordered 'rare' was well done. We were put in the restaurant which is in an adjoining part of the pub and completely soulless. The table was very sticky, it all felt very unhygienic.

Nice easy going pub.

We liked this pub because it was completely unpretentious and easy going. The food (we had burgers) was tasty. The staff were helpful and friendly.
