Surrounded by the Wealden South Downs, this picturesque village has a famous church, the National Trust owned clergy house and a great selection of galleries, cafes and shops. Walkers will delight in the surrounding open countryside and both visitors and locals a like will enjoy many local events including the Alfriston Festival in August and in December, Alfriston Christmas Weekend.

Being extremely dog friendly
A vineyard within walking distance
The local shop with a lovely deli at the rear
