Porthbean Beach

Situated on The Roseland peninsula, you will find this easterly facing beach. The beach is mainly sandy, albeit coarse, then it gently shelves to flat rock platforms. This beach is prone to rock falls and care needs to be taken, especially in certain weather conditions.

Lovely beach - access via steps

Not easy to find and accessed via a public footpath running down the side of the Driftwood Hotel. Small beach which very few people on it at midday on a sunny windy thursday in september. Wooden steps to beach were quite challenging for me on the way up.Dog friendly all year round.
