A guide to the West Country from the people that know…

Pembroke Dock

Pembroke Dock, also known as The Port of Pembroke has had historic links to the Navy since the opening of the Royal Navy Dockyard in 1814. These days the Victorian town has a good selection of shops, cafes and restaurants and is home to a twice daily ferry service to southern Ireland. There's lots of scenic walking in the area on the Pembroke Coast Path and also the Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre to visit.
