Antony (4.5 miles)
A magnificent 18th Century mansion house with Georgian gardens. Director Tim Burton chose Antony House as a key location for the filming of Alice in Wonderland (released March 2010). The National Trust have now created their own magical wonderland here, transforming the house, garden and estate into dreamlike scenes from Alice. Enter the giant rabbit hole to find yourself in a larger than life garden where you can join the Mad Hatter's tea party, pit your wits in a giant game of chess or enjoy a spot of croquet on the lawn.

Saltash (4.6 miles)
Wherever you are in Saltash, it’s impossible to miss one of Brunel’s most dramatic pieces of engineering. The Royal Albert railway bridge strides across the Tamar, linking Devon and Cornwall and providing some truly astounding views. The more recent suspension road bridge is an equally imposing landmark. The Tamar Valley stretches away behind Saltash, offering a glorious backdrop to fun water activities like sailing or canoeing.
