Withypool Hill Barrow (1.1 miles)
Watch the sun go down from this ancient site on top of Withypool Hill. Superb views across Exmoor. Nearby Withypool stone circle is one of only two complete stone circles on Exmoor. To get there, park to east of the hill by the cattle grid, walk half a mile along the well worn track, then follow the paths north up the hill.

Tarr Steps (2.5 miles)
The Barle River rushes through Tarr Steps all winter, slowing to a trickle during the summer. The bridge is a medieval clapper bridge, perhaps one of the most photographed in the world. It’s a lovely spot for a picnic.
